A faucet with a grace of a sculpture
ALESSI Swan by Oras was born out of the passion to create an aesthetic innovation: by giving the faucet the grandness and elegance of the swan, the designer enabled new ways of using a faucet. With its unusual and distinctive appearance, ALESSI Swan by HANSA is the perfect faucet recommendation for high-end kitchens where design is especially important. Its creator Mario Trimarchi drew his inspiration from nature, specifically from the wings of a swan that served as a model for the elegant operating levers of the faucet. The left-hand lever is used to control the water flow rate, while the right-hand lever sets the temperature.
High-end design combined with SMART features
Alessi Swan by HANSA is a new design that combines the smooth lines of the swan with smart HANSA functions. The basic model has two levers: one is for adjusting the flow, the other is for the temperature. The maximum flow is 12 litres per minute. The electronic model has a Smart press pad which enables opening and closing the faucet with one press of the button.
Safety is increased through LED light which starts shining in red when the water temperature exceeds 32 degrees Celcius, and blinking to warn the user when the water temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celcius.

Mario Trimarchi, the Italian designer known internationally for his capacity to look at everyday objects like sculptures populating our household landscape. Trimarchi has worked for a long time on reinventing everyday objects through an unexpected side step which makes use of unstable geometries such that an object looks different from each angle of vision, like a statue. This approach engendered highly successful products, such as the Ossidiana coffee maker, and La Stanza dello Scirocco, the collection of containers and centerpieces designed for Alessi.
