This year, the competition was particularly tough, but ultimately clear: Stuttgart-based quality sanitary fittings manufacturer HANSA is once again delighted to have been voted the “No. 1 specialist trade partner”. For the 17th time in a row, HANSA prevailed over ten competitors to take the top spot in the reader survey, which is organised every two years by industry information service provider "markt intern". As in previous years, the Swabians succeeded in winning over readers with their service range in ten different categories relating to products, sales, marketing and service. And, with an overall score of 2.12, the quality manufacturer ensured that the coveted industry award returned to Stuttgart once again.

But finally, it became clear that the overall ranking received in the ten disciplines had earned the long-established company first place once again. Product quality, product line policy, delivery service, sales support, complaints policy, sales exclusivity, user-friendly installation, spare part supply, manufacturer support and end-consumer advertising were all subject to assessment. Joachim Stücke, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, commented: “After a difficult year for the sanitary manufacturing industry in 2009, we are delighted that our brand has been awarded the important distinction “No. 1 specialist trade partner”. We are very happy that our partners placed Hansa among the top three in all disciplines. This demonstrates that, although there is potential for improvement in some areas, we have set the right course for our customers and our brand”. One of the fittings manufacturer’s strategies is and remains the continual optimisation of customer satisfaction and retention levels. The fact that this policy is actively embraced and honoured is reflected particularly in the scores Hansa received in the categories "manufacturer support” and “complaints policy”. Christopher Marshall, CEO of Hansa Metallwerke AG: “We attach the utmost importance to good service. Customer needs are a top priority for us.”
Although this year’s award means a great deal to Stuttgart’s fittings professionals, it’s no reason to put their feet up. As Stücke comments, “We don’t intend to rest on our laurels, but will continue to work on our quality and brand image.”
