Uncompromising design: HANSALATRAVA.

The diagonal laminar water jet flows into a washbasin that is specially made for HANSALATRAVA. Designed around its shape, a magnificent 90 cm wide and made from the innovative mineral material MINACOR, the washbasin is the perfect counterpart to the fitting in terms of shape and substance.

Water is so much more than just a flow: it rushes, surges, bubbles, whispers, roars, sparkles and dances. That is why Hansa has always prepared the stage for water’s great performance, which it masters like no other element: with fittings that give directions to water and make it an experience for all your senses.

HANSALATRAVA is a fitting that takes this philosophy to the limit. Contemporary perspectives, well-known design principles and assimilated ways of thinking:

HANSALATRAVA makes use of the familiar, only to take it to a new level. It is uncompromising, focused and is as equally cool as it is audacious.

HANSALATRAVA makes no references, quotes nobody and interprets nothing.

HANSALATRAVA is a completely new archetype, original in its design vocabulary and original in the way it presents water. It is a formal sculpture, never before created. For people who never see boundaries as an end but always as the start of something new.

Not modelled on anything. This is the icon: HANSALATRAVA.

The HANSALATRAVA is controlled by a detachable panel integrated into the design. Light-emitting diodes visualise the respectively set mixed water distribution by colours. Piezotechnology ensures reliable function over many years.

Extremely slender, with bold statics, and nevertheless stable: The contours of HANSALATRAVA are precision-milled from monolithic blocks – which can be compared to the creative process of making a sculpture. To achieve the characteristic striking brilliance, the surfaces are diamond-polished prior to chrome plating.

The brilliance of HANSALATRAVA can be seen in the control of the delicate elements, in the perfection of the transitions, in the uniqueness of the water jet. The designers’ vision of a diagonally flowing sheet of water was able to be turned into reality by a completely new type of nozzle. Strictly speaking, the spectacular effect is achieved solely from the distribution, not the volume of water. The water consumption remains at a low level.
